Raw Cacao Slice - a favorite retreat desert
This is a great nutritious snack, especially for those with a sweet tooth (like me) and is supper quick and easy to make - no baking required!
Makes approx 15-20 balls
3 cups desiccated coconut
1/2 cup of cacao powder
1/3 cup of coconut oil
1/2 cup of raw honey or maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Blend all ingredients in a bowl until a dough forms.
Roll into balls or simply place in a slice dish with coconut/sesame seeds or plain.
Store in fridge or freezer.
(Tip to tempt the kids simply put a choc chip either in the ball or sprinkle them on top of the slice)
